Director, Renewable Energy and Environmental Finance, Wells Fargo
Jordan Newman has over a decade of experience financing renewable energy. He is a Director in the Renewable Energy and Environmental Finance group at Wells Fargo where he is responsible for originating, structuring, and closing tax equity investments for Solar and Wind transactions. Since 2007, Wells Fargo has invested over $4 billion in tax equity in these areas. Prior to joining Wells Fargo, Jordan served on the project finance teams at Tioga Energy, Energy Finance Company, and Pacific Power Renewables, where he was responsible for raising project finance capital including construction debt, term debt, tax equity, and sponsor equity. Jordan first worked in renewables at Sharp Solar in 2004, where he developed financial products to support channel sales at the then #1 manufacturer worldwide. Jordan began his career as a financial analyst at Ernst & Young. He received an MBA with honors from USC Marshall School of Business and did his undergraduate work at Tufts University.
